Dear friends,

On Friday, October 9th I will be releasing a new recording “Skylark” produced and arranged by celebrated pianist Bill King. I have had this recording all to myself for a while and it’s time to release it and share it with you all. This is the 3rd single from my recent album “Heather Christine with the Bill King Trio” recorded at Kensington Sound, Toronto, Ontario. It was truly a joy to create this recording. Working with these exceptional musicians was a creative process I cherish and will never forget. The melody composed by Hoagy Carmichael with lyrics written by Johnny Mercer in 1941 haunt me with a raw vulnerability. There’s nowhere to hide when you sing these lyrics. Bill King’s piano paints a picture in my mind capturing the emotions, the memories, the feelings of this specific moment of my life journey. I can’t tell you all what I’ve gone through…but I can sing it! I hope you enjoy this piece of artistry… it’s time for me to share with you now.
